Describe your experience of saying “yes” to the dress!

I visited the Casablanca Bridal Flagship Store in Newport Beach! I had the absolute best time with my mom and closest friends picking out my dress! We tried on a few and as soon as I put on the Birdie dress and stood in front of the mirror I ugly cried - I knew it was the one! Everyone that works at the Flagship Store is absolutely incredible. They made me feel like family! I was able to customize my dress exactly the way I wanted and the process was SO easy and fun!

Tell us your love story!

My now husband (!!!) and I met on tinder almost 5 years ago now. We went on our first date and knew that was it. We said I love you after 2 weeks and moved in together 6 months later. My favorite place in the entire world is Mammoth Lakes, CA. There is an outdoor chapel nestled between two lakes with trees and mountains surrounding. It’s always been one of my favorite spots! My husband, Jeremy, walked with me down to the chapel and told me how much he loved me. He got down on one knee and we both ugly cried (we are criers). It was so private and intimate and exactly what we both wanted. Best day ever (until we got married that is!).

What’s your favorite thing about your husband?

He is the most generous and compassionate person I have ever met. He is the definition of ’shirt off his back’ kind of man. He will do anything he can to help others, no questions asked, almost to a fault at times. It’s absolutely my favorite thing about him.

What’s your favorite moment from your wedding?

Our ceremony! It was supposed to be POURING rain all weekend and our wedding was outdoors. We were so disappointed that we wouldn’t be able to share the Stonehouse with our guests. Then, the morning of the wedding I woke up to see that it wasn’t going to rain until 7 PM, meaning we could have the ceremony outside! It was cloudy and overcast (GREAT for pictures), and at the exact moment we started to say our vows the sun came out and shined down on us. It was the most magical and happiest moment of my life. No feeling like it!

Any advice to other brides?

DO A FIRST LOOK. I was very against it for over a year. I really wanted my husband to see me for the first time walking down the aisle. As we got closer to the wedding, a few of my vendors had chats with me about how wonderful and helpful first looks are and I was convinced. It was SO WORTH IT. First of all, you will get the reaction you want and more! It’s more private so my husband and I both took time to really let our emotions out! The pictures are SO sweet and it was the only time that day that we really got to be ‘alone’ (with 2 photographers) together. DO IT, you won’t regret it!
