Happy Mother's Day: Celebrating Casablanca Brides and Their Mommas!
Happy Mother’s Day to our Casablanca Bridal community! We are so honored to feature some of our real brides and their mothers in today’s blog. They each shared precious moments from their wedding day and answered a few questions highlighting what they love most about their mother. Over the years we have recieved many sweet stories from Casablanca Brides telling us about their perfect wedding day and sharing pictures with their mothers and grandmothers. It is such an honor to keep this tradition alive and show our appreciation for the strong women who raised us!

What do you love most about your mother? “I love how my mother has been there for me and taken care of me in ways that often go unnoticed. Many ways I didn’t even realize or recognize when I was younger. I definitely have grown to appreciate her more than ever.”
How did she help make your wedding day special? “It was very special on my wedding day getting ready with my mother. I was able to wear the same earring that she wore at her wedding. Even going shopping for my wedding dress prior to my wedding was such a special moment.”
What is the best advice she has ever given you? “All the advice my mother has given me recently with my new baby of my own has been immensely helpful. It makes my heart hurt for new moms who do not have their mother to support them postpartum.”

What do you love most about your mother? “She has made me the person I am today. I wouldn’t be who I am without her and for that I will be truly grateful.”
How did she help make your wedding day special? “Walking me down the aisle and giving me over to my future husband was so special. I grew up with only one parent and for my whole life I never felt like I was missing out on not having both parents because she was more than enough for me.”
What is the best advice she has ever given you? “The best advice she gave me is marry someone you don’t need but someone you choose to have with you through the ups and down, someone you can truly be yourself with.”

What do you love most about your mother? “I love how selfless and caring my mother is. She always puts our family and others before herself. She deserves the world.”
How did she help make your wedding day special? “She made my wedding special just by supporting me throughout the whole process and being there for the important moments. I will always deeply cherish them.”
What is the best advice she has ever given you? “The best advice she has ever given me was to not to dwell over things we can’t control. She has always been my rock in life, and I can always depend on her.”

What do you love most about your mother? “There are so many things I love about my mom. I think one of my favorite things about her is that I truly can tell her everything. Growing up I was never afraid of asking her for help or asking her questions, and that carried me into adulthood. She never passes judgment and lets you spill everything out and listens.”
How did she help make your wedding day special? “My mom was such an important part of my wedding day. She made sure, even though we had a coordinator, that everything was exactly how I had imagined. My favorite moments from the wedding with my mom are spending a few minutes alone with her while putting on my dress and getting to dance together on the dance floor.”
What is the best advice she has ever given you? “The best piece of advice my mom has given me is do what makes you happy and let go of the past. My mom has always said life is short and you can’t dwell on things, you need to think about what makes you happy and run with it. I love you, Mom!”

What do you love most about your mother? “My mom is always so positive and encouraging. Oh, and she’s always smiling and laughing. It’s a breath of fresh air!”
How did she help make your wedding day special? "She was there for me every step of the way, helping with all of the behind the scenes planning and supporting my decisions throughout the wedding planning journey. I couldn’t have done it all without her!”
What is the best advice she has ever given you? “Keep going. Never give up! It all comes back to her positivity and encouragement, but she’s also a strong advocate for hard work paying off and things that don’t get handed to you. Rather, you need to put the effort into the outcome you want!”

What do you love most about your mother? “What I love most about my mom is her sense of humor, she is always the most fun person to hang out with, wherever you are!”
How did she help make your wedding day special? “She made my wedding special because not only was she my full-time planner and florist, but she also made sure that my every wish came true and that my wedding was everything I have always dreamt of.”
What is the best advice she has ever given you?
“The best advice she ever gave me was to trust your intuition. Us women have a built-in guiding compass, and we must use it to guide our decisions.”

What do you love most about your mother? “My mama has always been able to make me feel like both her daughter and her best friend.”
How did she help make your wedding day special?
“She understood my vision for an elegant romantic wedding in the woods and helped bring it to reality by picking out all the details with me and putting pieces together herself. She poured so much love into our celebration and we could feel it.”
What is the best advice she has ever given you? “Honestly, I have too many. I have a funny, but true one and a more serious one: “You don’t have to wear a bra,” and “Be yourself...when one door closes another one opens, so never lose hope.”
